Match Report Press Report

Findon Cricket Club 2nd Lost to Brighton Squash Club 1st in a one-sided match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 48 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, James Dunphy, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 76 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Phil Ayton.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 3 string, Phil Ayton, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Phil Ayton, who over-turned a 1919 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
